BEWARE OF HACKING LINK
~omgwtfbbqplz reports, 1h 47m ago
A deviant commented me on February sometime on the first week and told me to click on a link to a funny blog. Turns out it is a link to you getting your dA account getting hacked. Thank god, I didn't click on the because I was busy and the deviant was able to warn me on time.
The URL of the hacking link is "deviantartblog.loginspage.com/users/" after your usual http:// on the address bar. If you see this on your status bar, AVOID CLICKING THE LINK AND HIDE THE COMMENT/REPLY IF YOU CAN. If you don't have a status bar, turn it on somehow or somehow get it. If it doesn't work, sucks to be you and stay cautious of links at all times.
Here's what the hacking link is like. The page should look like dA's login page but with the URL I mentioned earlier. If you try to put in your username and your password, it will redirect you to dA's real login page. The fake login page will be able to hack your account and do whatever the hell t want. It'll mostly send the hacking link to your friends, so beware of this.
So if you were to be given a link, Ask yourself this:
-Why did this random deviant who I don't know give me a link?
-Where does the link really direct me into?
-Is this deviant a spammer?
If you do get hacked try changing your password. If that doesn't work for some reason, email -violations@deviantart.com without the hyphen immediately for assistance. Don't try to make a new account to contact the help desk since Admins don't delete accounts.
Pozdrawiam i miejcie sie na bacznosci
